Leadership Development Coordinator Job Description
Purpose As the collaborative Women’s Leadership Program develops and grows with Women’s Studies, the JKWC requires a dedicated student to oversee and coordinate the leadership events and programs.
Responsibilities 1. Research: The LDC will develop a list of Women’s Leadership Programs at other universities, both Catholic/Jesuit and secular. She will determine how they are run, how they are administered, and what programs they offer. 2. Women’s Leadership Brunch: As a staple for the WLP, the coordinator will prepare all materials for the brunch, develop the informational CDs, and publicize and recruit for the event. 3. Workshops: The LDC will oversee all leadership workshops offered at the Center including: publicity oversight, hosting the event, evaluations/assessment of programs, and thank you notes. 4. Development: The LDC will identify the areas of leadership in need of development. The JKWC welcomes creative and progressive input to better serve the students. 5. For all of the above, the LDC should begin to establish a manual of her position, responsibilities, assessment, and suggestions for future student use.
